For centuries a cluster of mountain diary farms, Nordseter and Sjusjoen- with their easily accessible forest and mountain terrain- have gradually developed into one of Northern Europe´s best cross country ski resorts. The mountain above Lillehammer is 850-1.000 metres above sea level and only 17 km from downtown Lillehammer.

The area offer varied terrain and more than 350 km of double tracked ski trails with direct links to downtown Lillehammer. All trails are clearly marked and ther are signs indicating distance to the varoius destinations. There are ski schools, ski rentals and many other winter activities taking place both in Sjusjoen, Hafjell and at Nordseter. As a familiy excursion you can combinine both cross country and downhill skiing as there are three ski lifts in Nordseter and Sjusjoen. Your trip to the Lillehammer Mountain can be combined with horse sleigh rides, dog sledding, guided ski tours, ice fishing, torch parades, ski games, toboganning and many other fun activities.
